Week 21st
-23rd
Hello! How’s your
weekend going?
This rain is a bit annoying (disappointing,
something you don’t like)! Fortunately, it seems we are going to have better weather for
next weekend. And that’s great because next week we are having a longer weekend. We are celebrating Mayday.
This is something we
hadn’t heard before in Spain. It seems the kid isn’t sane and he suffers from a
mental condition. It’s so sad!
But, we continued the
week with more cheerful (happier) subjects.
Laura
told us about her journey to Rome. She told us how beautiful Rome is and how
badly, Romans drive!
We went on talking
about holidays.
We listened to Sean
telling us about his uncle and aunt’s holidays in Ibiza. Although they had
already been there and they had enjoyed their holiday very much, this time it
was quite different. The first time Sean’s uncle and aunt went to Ibiza it was
in the sixties and the island was peaceful and quiet. This time they found that
Ibiza is now ‘the party island’; crowded with young people, a lot of noise from bars and discos
and people in
the street screaming and shouting. They didn’t like their experience
at all!
Then, we had a little
review on grammar, vocabulary and listening.
You can try these
exercises:
And that was it! This
week we’ll talk about photographs!
See you on Tuesday!
