Week 7th –
9th April
Here we are again
after Easter holidays!
We started the week
learning some useful expressions to explain words we don’t know how to say in
English.
For example:
·
It’s
someone who works in a restaurant.
·
It’s
the person who takes the food from the kitchen to the tables.
·
It’s
a place where you go when you want to buy something.
·
It’s
a thing which you use to talk.
·
It’s
a kind of machine.
·
It’s
the opposite of tall.
·
It’s
the same as worried.
·
It’s
like
thin, but it means thin and attractive.
·
It’s
how you feel when you have a lot of things to do.
·
For
example, you do this with the TV.
We completed a
crossword in pairs. Asking for and giving definitions.
And we talked about:
· A person who is very
important to you.
· Something which you
couldn’t live without.
· A place where you would
like to go for a special evening.
· A famous person who you like
a lot.
· A thing which you often
lose.
· A place where you were
very happy when you were a child.
And
that was our week…! See you on Tuesday!
